Gone are the days of tugging along heavy vacuum cleaners all around the home when cleaning every nook and corner. Handheld vacuum cleaners like Kent, Agaro, and Inalsa have come to stay. In this article, we review one of the best budget-friendly handheld vacuum cleaners, Inalsa.
Our Opinion
Handheld vacuum cleaners must be light, and Inalsa ticks this box well because it weighs less than a kilogram. It displays good suction power to remove dust from hard-to-reach areas comfortably. Though the Agaro Regal handheld is more versatile, the Inalsa is not far behind in its performance. It has its limitations, but its positives outweigh the negatives. It is a good buy at its attractive pricing. The Inalsa gets good marks for its utility value. Since we have used this machine extensively, we find it a good asset for your home.

Pros
- For its size, Inalsa displays powerful suction,
- Since it is light, anyone can use it around the house.
- Besides being budget-friendly, this model is user-friendly.
- The decent cord length makes it flexible.
- It offers total value for money.
Cons
- Unlike the Agaro vacuum cleaner, you cannot use the Inalsa as a stick vacuum cleaner, making it less versatile.
- The motor gets heated quickly, within three to four minutes.
- The attachments need improvisation because they do not fit tightly.
- The filter, though good, needs improvement because tiny dust particles pass through it and affect the motor.
Inalsa Vacuum Cleaner Review
What do you expect from a vacuum cleaner? It must be easy to use, remove dust from hard-to-reach places, be portable, and offer value for money. Inalsa handheld vacuum cleaner qualifies among India’s best handheld vacuum cleaning appliances. Though the Kent Zoom and Agaro Supreme are more versatile, Inalsa holds its own because of its mighty suction power. Let us dissect this utility appliance in detail for the benefit of all users.
The Design

Like Agaro Regal, the Inalsa is a handheld corded vacuum cleaner. It is a compact appliance with restricted mobility because of the power cord. Fortunately, the power cord is long enough to offer decent flexibility, but it is less convenient than the Kent Zoom, a cordless vacuum cleaner. At the same time, a corded vacuum cleaner seems a better option because you need not waste time recharging its batteries. You can plug the machine and start cleaning right away.
Compared to the Agaro Regal, the Inalsa is a lightweight model because it weighs less than half that of the Agaro. However, it has drawbacks, like the motor getting hot quickly, making it challenging to use the appliance for more than five minutes at a stretch. The extension pipe is a valuable accessory because it lets you clean the ceilings comfortably. This vacuum cleaner’s versatility is worthwhile, as you can clean car upholstery comfortably.
Accessories

The Inalsa handheld vacuum cleaner has decent accessories that make it a good choice for your home. The crevice nozzle proves helpful in reaching inaccessible areas to suck the dust out comfortably. So, cleaning your upholstery joints and crevices is no longer an issue. The dusting brush is sturdy enough to pick up dust and hair from delicate surfaces. The hosepipe attachment makes the appliance more flexible, allowing you to reach ceilings, remove cobwebs, and clean fan blades.
Inalsa provides a HEPA filter capable of capturing the minutest dust particles. It is an excellent machine for pet lovers because it can comfortably remove animal hair and dander. The powerful suction effectively avoids the clogging of the filters to extend the machine’s longevity. However, the filter is delicate because it is made of plastic.

We tested the Inalsa and Agaro handheld models simultaneously, and the Agaro appliance is better because it has an extension pipe, allowing you to use it as a stick vacuum cleaner. Accessory-wise, both the appliances are similar. The transparent dust collection jar enables you to know when to empty it. However, I recommend emptying the dust after using it every time. It has become a habit and is more convenient.
Motor

The Inalsa handheld vacuum cleaner has a powerful 800W motor like the Agaro Regal. Inalsa claims that its motor has a suction power of 16 Kpa. However, we have used the Agaro and Inalsa models simultaneously. Though the Inalsa motor suction power is good, we are not sure it would be 16 Kpa. However, it compares well with the 6.5 Kpa suction power of the Agaro Regal.
This machine has sufficient suction power to remove dust and debris from upholstery crevices, car interiors, areas behind TVs and other appliances, cobwebs, etc. In short, it can remove debris from almost anywhere. Motor performance-wise, the Inalsa is better than the Kent Zoom because the Kent model does not have high suction power like the Inalsa.
But the major drawback is that the motor gets hot quickly. It can be challenging to continue using the machine for more than five to six minutes at a stretch. Switch it off, allowing the motor to cool down. The power cord restricts its free mobility, especially when you need the machine to clean multiple rooms. It would be best if you plugged in again into another socket. Therefore, cleaning areas like your attic and verandah can be challenging because these places generally need plug points.
Performance

Performance-wise, the Inalsa handheld vacuum cleaner is good without any complaints except that the motor gets heated up quickly. The solution is to switch off the machine for a few minutes before restarting it. Besides, continuously vacuuming for five minutes can be tiring for the user. A few minutes of rest benefits the user and the machine.
This machine does not have a blower facility. But the suction power is good enough to remove the most stubborn debris. Another significant drawback is the one-speed setting that makes the machine less flexible. However, the excellent suction power compensates for this drawback by removing all dust with a single motion.
Removing the dust collected inside the transparent chamber is not an issue because one press of a button is sufficient to detach the chamber and empty it of the dust. Besides, the filters are washable.
Maintenance

The Inalsa vacuum cleaner does not require much maintenance. We recommend you keep the machine clean and remove the collected dust after every cleaning session. The filters can be washed and reused. If the filters get clogged, you will notice a change in the suction capacity. You need not wait for it to happen. So, cleaning the filters regularly prevents any dust buildup.
Many users complain that Inalsa could have provided a spare filter because it does not cost much. However, the machine is priced low enough to provide total value for money.
Overall Experience
Overall, the Inalsa handheld vacuum cleaner is a welcome appliance when you consider the bulky vacuum cleaners we used in the past. It is light and comfortable. Though it has restricted mobility, its suction power defines its performance. This machine is ideal for the Indian home. Inalsa could have provided more accessories to make the machine versatile. Nevertheless, this machine is worth the amount you spend on purchasing it.
