Generally, what do you look for in a gas stove? It should be sleek and suit your kitchen ambiance. It should have a minimum of three burners of varying sizes to cater to every cooking requirement. Auto ignition is an additional advantage.
You will be pleased to know that the Hindware ALVERIO 3-burner glass gas stove qualifies in every category. Let us review its performance.

Our Verdict
We have used this gas stove in our kitchen for over a year. It looks beautiful and delivers a decent performance. The burner size suits our requirements, but the knob mechanism is unsatisfactory.

We also love the auto-ignition feature. It ensures minimum wastage of LPG compared to lighting gas stoves with match sticks or gas lighters. Pricing-wise, we found this product reasonable. We believe in its durability since it has worked without problems for over a year.

Hindware ALVEIRO Review
Looks-wise, the Hindware ALVEIRO has few matches in the market. The black toughened glass and the sleek rectangular shape make it a joy to behold. The advantage of toughened glass is that you need not worry about rust formation. Besides, the glass has a 5-year warranty. Hence, it proves its durability.

Though the toughened glass top does not get hot, we advise consumers not to place hot utensils on the glass because it can crack. Secondly, we do not advise people to wash the glass stove immediately after switching it off. The cold-water droplets can also crack the glass top if it is hot.
This gas stove features three brass burners of varying sizes. Brass is the best metal for manufacturing gas burners. These burners have adequate flame guard pan support to prevent heat transfer from the burner to the vessel and to protect the flame from the surrounding air.

Each burner is equipped with a black drip tray to prevent the food and overflowing liquids from choking the burner. It also makes it simpler to clean the stove because the food does not spill over beneath the gas stove.
The auto-ignition feature is one of the best aspects of this Hindware ALVEIRO gas stove. Thus, you can avoid using matchsticks or gas lighters. Besides, prompt ignition minimizes gas wastage. In addition, a manual ignition option facility is also available.
The left burner is the primary brass burner, ideal for placing large vessels like pressure cookers and dosa pans. The right-side burner is smaller in comparison and does not suffice for preparing dosas.

The center burner is the smallest of the three and is best for boiling water and milk and preparing tea. You can prepare dishes in small quantities on the middle burner. The spacing between the burners lets you simultaneously cook three separate dishes on the gas stove.
One of the most significant drawbacks we experienced was that the knobs were loosely fitted and fell out soon.
We had to summon the technician to rectify the matter because the machine was under the warranty period. However, Hindware did not offer quality after-sales service, primarily because the technician charged Rs 500 for replacing the knob even though it was under warranty.
Unfortunately, the knobs fell out again quickly. I learned that you can use the gas stove without the knob, but I do not recommend trying it out because it can be challenging to twist the knob with your hands. Secondly, it can be dangerous because gas might leak out if we do not close the knob properly.

Cleaning the gas stove is simple. I advise you to switch off the gas connection, remove the burners and clean the insides using a dry towel. The burners can be washed separately with soap and water. Cleaning the glass top with a damp cloth is better. The pan support and drip trays are removeable and can be washed separately in the kitchen sink.
Conclusion
Overall, the Hindware ALVEIRO is a good gas stove because of its excellent performance but the Knob Mechanism is not good. The pan support frame is good and high enough to prevent the vessels from touching the burner surface.
