FAQ – Some Points to note

Normally, the Pollutants of the size that are greater than 10 microns are visible to the human eye. These dust particles sized above 10 microns will settle down on the floor due to the earth’s gravitational force.

Such particles are not much harm to us. Our Human body has a natural filtration system that can filter dust particles. But, If the Particle size is lower than 10 microns, they are not visible to the human eye. The PM 2.5 Particles are very minute and can penetrate into our lungs. ( Cigarette Smoke, Coal and Fossil Fuel Smoke, Industrial releases and smoke emitted by the vehicles)

The PM 2.5 is generated by the burning of fossil fuels like petrol diesel, coal, and many other factory combustibles.

Also, the indoor Air is four times more polluted than the outside air. According to the World Health Organization, the average Indoor Air Pollution is 375 grams per cubic meter of air.

Also, the effect of the PM 2.5 Particles is more on the people who are suffering from Asthma. If you are Prone to Allergies, you must consider buying an Air Purifier.

Recently, we purchased the Honeywell Air Touch A5 from Amazon at just rs 9,853/- without any shipping cost. As it is a fairly new product of Honeywell in India, I visited several dealers and enquired about the functionality. There were some cheaper alternatives from other brands but online articles and my own research pointed towards a product that should have at least a HEPA filter and a carbon filter. The Honeywell model I bought has three filters and comes with touch controls. It has an understated beauty to it which other products did not have. Very happy with the operation so far, will review again in a couple of months.
