Utility-wise, the Agaro Regal handheld vacuum cleaner fits the bill perfectly because it is available at a reasonable price and performs a decent job of vacuum cleaning the house. We know its utilities and shortcomings since we have used this handheld vacuum cleaner for nearly a year. This review should prove useful for people purchasing the Agaro Regal vacuum cleaner.
The Design
Let us start with its design. The Agro Regal is a compact device that performs decent vacuuming. It is a corded vacuum cleaner. Hence, its reach is limited to the extent of the power cord.
Agaro offers a 5-meter power cord sufficient for the average Indian home. However, you must keep changing the plug points when you use it to vacuum different rooms.
The Kent Zoom is more convenient than the Agaro Regal because it is a cordless vacuum cleaner. Hence, you can carry it almost anywhere you want. The Agaro Regal weighs around 1.80 Kg, considerably lighter than the Kent Zoom. However, We found cleaning the cobwebs from the ceiling a bit uncomfortable because my arms became sore by continuously lifting this vacuum cleaner for nearly four to five minutes.
This vacuum cleaner has a transparent dust collection container with an aerodynamic nozzle design to ensure maximum suction. The nozzle is shaped perfectly to reach crevices and clean hard-to-reach areas comfortably.
Accessories
The Agaro Regal handheld vacuum cleaner has multiple cleaning brushes for different vacuuming jobs. So you can clean floors, carpets, upholstery, walls, and ceilings comfortably. At the same time, the thin nozzle allows you to remove dust from window channels and beneath your furniture. They can comfortably slide along the crevices to remove cobwebs sticking to the walls and the ceiling.
This machine does not have a blower function. Therefore, its functionality is limited to sucking dust alone. The accessories include one filter bag with the machine. Agaro could have provided a replacement, but it would be too much to expect more at this pricing.
Motor
Surprisingly, the Agaro Regal has a powerful 800W motor with a suction capacity of 6.5 kPa for a handheld vacuum cleaner. Thus, this machine can suck the minutest dust particles from every corner of your home and keep it clean. The Kent Zoom model does not have this kind of suction power.
However, the motor has a significant drawback because it gets hot quickly.
We discovered that using this vacuum cleaner for more than five minutes at a stretch was impossible without risking motor failure.
The motor gets hot within four to five minutes, after which one should shut the machine off and allow it to cool for a couple of minutes before restarting it.
Therefore, it can become tedious to use the machine. Secondly, the power cord is 5 meters long. That restricts its movement considerably, especially when cleaning multiple rooms. But you can unplug the machine and insert it in another plug socket to use it according to your convenience.
Performance
Performance-wise, this machine has no complaints except for the motor becoming hot quickly within five minutes. The Kent Zoom is more comfortable because you can use the machine for at least 20 minutes at a stretch.
As far as vacuuming is concerned, the Agaro Regal does an immaculate job. It is easy to assemble the machine and use it to remove dust from hard-to-reach areas.
The transparent dust container shows when to open the machine and empty it of dust. The bagless technology allows easy removal of dust. Hence, it offers a hassle-free cleaning experience.
The absence of the blower restricts its utility, but it compensates with its amazing suction power. The motor has a one-speed setting that can sometimes be disadvantageous because it makes the machine less flexible. But the high-quality suction power removes dust quickly with one single motion.
Maintenance
This machine does not require much maintenance. However, since the motor becomes hot quickly, We advise users to use the machine for four minutes and allow it to cool for two minutes before reusing it. It helps sustain the motor and enhances its overall performance.
Cleaning the machine container of the collected dust particles is easy because you can unscrew it and remove the dust comfortably. There are no dustbags to replace. However, Agaro provides one filter with the machine. They could have provided a spare filter because it does not cost much.
